Fall is here

FullSizeRender.jpg

Fall happened .. I mean suddenly it is here. It was so humid and hot last week, and then Mother Nature flipped the switch and the temperatures have been cool, and the humidity is gone. It’s amazing how fast the weather can change.

I took this photo Sunday morning on the bike path just south of Piqua. The sky and clouds were amazing. More photos like this are included in the video below. Enjoy.

The dew and friendships

FullSizeRender.jpg

Teresa took this photo this weekend. It was early, and the dew was still heavy. I love the drops of dew and the detail. Just a cool photo!

It reminded me of this:

In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed.

~Khalil Gibran

Well done, dear.

Cycles of life

FullSizeRender.jpg

I was trying to capture the tree that is to the right side of this photo. It’s a dead tree, but I often find some amazing birds in it’s limbs. It’s ironic how a dead tree host some of the most amazing wildlife. The old tree stands in the middle of all of this new, lush green scenery . It’s all part of the larger cycle of life.

This photo was taken at Garbry Big Woods Reserve.

Have a great day.
