A Sky Of Dreams

The sky was so blue and spotted with a few small, fluffy clouds. Days like this are great. It reminds me of a time when I was young and I would lay on the grass watching the clouds as they slowly drift across the sky. I would dream of things to come. As we get older, we seem to dream less and stress more.

I shot this on one of the warm days last week. It invited us to come outdoors and dream.

Lazy River: A Spring Day

Photos like this never get old. This is another shot of the Stillwater River that I captured just north of Covington, Ohio.

The river winds though the country side here. At spots if flows more rapidly, then it slows as it gets wider and deeper.

I took this photo from a bridge over the river. Looks like a perfect day to canoe or raft down the river:).

Layers Of Beauty

I wish everyone could see this photo at full size on a good screen. The color and the depth blow me away. The clouds look like they are floating on a sea of blue, and the trees have great detail. Its like layers of beauty.

I shot this photo with my iPhone. I could not have done any better if I had swapped my lens on my DSLR.

One Spring Day …

I shot this photo earlier this week on a beautiful, cool spring afternoon. The sky was blue and the white puffy clouds spotted the sky. I doubt you can see it in this photo, but the trees have small green buds sprouting across the canvas. It was beautiful.

Scenic River Photos

These photos were all taken over the last couple of weeks. I love the rivers around this part of Ohio.

The trees are still bare, but the green starting to show up everywhere.

I love the spring. I like to start fresh every day, but this season is about a new start in nature. Take some time this week to take a walk and enjoy nature!!
