Fresh Snow

Late Sunday evening into Monday morning Mother Nature dropped about 3 inches of snow on Miami County and the surrounding area. Teresa and I took a drive and shot a few photos. Teresa captured this photo. Fresh snow can be beautiful.

Black & White Chill

This time of year I enjoy black and white photography. It fits with the overall environment so well.

This shot was taken near Twin Arches Reserve, on the Miami RIver bike trail. It was a gloomy day! There was a stillness in the air, and on the river. A black and white photo captures that well.

Its That Time Of Year …

According to the calendar, winter is just around the corner. When I walked out of the house early yesterday, I thought to myself, winter is here. Even this photo says cold winter day. The gloomy cloud cover, the colors .. all that is missing is snow (that four letter word that I don’t like).

I had to get that out of my system. 😳😬

Sun Rays & Long Shadows

I have shot this same view many times, but this is a cool photo in part to do with the sun rays, but also the low water level and how the shadows stretch across the water. It was a cold afternoon, and it was getting late in the day.

Air Traffic ✈️

The morning sun was amazing yesterday. We had to take a drive for a breakfast get together and we stopped to photograph the view.It was cold, but so beautiful.
