Fall Beauty

Each season bring a own unique beauty to the outdoors. As we transiton from the summer to winter, the fall brings a special beauty. The contrast between the river, the bare trees and this amazing blue sky .. I could stand in this spot and absorb the view for hours. Instead of that, I just capture it in a photo. 🤔🚶🏻‍♂️

Snow And Ice

Adjustments.jpeg

Joyce, this is for you. I took this photo after that snow fall a couple weeks ago. You can see the fine layer of ice on the creek. It was cold that afternoon, so I didn’t take very many photos.

Looking Like Snow?

Adjustments.jpeg

I didn’t capture the heavy clouds in this photo but it sure looked and felt like snow. The trees have taken off their summer dress, and are all bare.

I love how the Miami River winds through his area. Water levels are very low now, and we are just waiting for a big snow fall.

Two views

It may not look cold, but It was. I guess I had some drone fever, so I flew the drone to capture a few photos ... from a different perspective.

There are two photos here. The fist shot was taken with my iPhone. Yes, I had my camera with me, but I find this triple camera so compelling. That photo is just great.

The other photo was captured from the drone at about 50 feet. Two views, only separated by time and vertical space.

Capturing The Sun

IMG_9131.jpeg

I shot this photo on Thurday. As you can see, the snow was still hanging around. The sun and blue sky was so beautiful.

When everything aligns, shots like this are possible. You capture the suns rays, and still manage to get deep shadows and great color. This is one of those photos.

There was a thin layer of ice on the pond. It was so very still. No birds or other wildlife today. Well, I take that back .. I saw one woodpecker.

Enjoy what remains of your weekend. Make it a great week!
