Meanwhile, In Ohio

Fall is here. I noticed the trees are really starting to put on their fall colors. It’s not so visible in this photo, but it is happening. We plan to get out this week and try to photograph some of the early color. This shot was taken at Garbry Big Woods. We saw a lot of woodpeckers, but did not get very many photos. More to come!

Lush Landscapes

This is a cool photo. We took it along the Road to Hana, but I can’t tell you the exact spot. The lush greens, and the winding river is a beautiful video. Framing this image was tough. I wanted to capture the wider photo instead of just the water. I had the wrong lens on my camera, and didn’t have the right lens with me. My bad.

More Fall … Every Day

I enjoy photography, and love taking photos of wildlife, but landscapes are fun too. I tend to take most landscape photos with my iPhone. I shot these on my new iPhone 11 Pro. It has this amazing triple lens system. I am still learning some of the tricks of the new photo app and the lens system. It does a great job for a mobile phone.

The leaves on the trail make it look more like fall every day. I took a long bike ride Saturday, and the leaves were all over the trail. Crazy.

The Scenic Stillwater River

I think the Stillwater River is one of the most scenic rivers in this part of Ohio. Spots like this one, at the Stillwater Prairie Reserve are so beautiful. The water was clear, and peaceful.

A couple of other notes:

1) We went on a butterfly hike this week. I did record some video and I hope to post a video very soon.

2) I am speaking this week. The topic will be about using your  gear to improve your health. It will be this week at the TMG meeting in Kettering, Ohio. Message me if you are interested in details.

3) Teresa and I have two iPhone for sale. One is an iPhone 8 Plus, 256g of memory .. in great condition. Asking $400. The second is an iPhone X, 256g of memory and in great condition. Asking $500. We need to know by Thursday evening if you are interested.

A Pond

I enjoy taking photos of small ponds. This one was taken at the smaller pond at Stillwater Prairie Reserve. It was a partly cloudy day (as you can see), and fall is in the air already. We did not see much wildlife, but captured photos of a few insects:).
