This photo was also taken in Idaho several years ago. Graceful and intensly looking for food:). I remember watching her for a long time before taking this shot. It was a beauful day, and she was so casual about the people watching.

Teresa took this photo. We had just left our cabin at Hocking Hills, and she asked me to pull off the road so she could capture this scene. As the ice thawed, the streams were flowing. A good picture!

You don’t have to tell anyone else, but do you remember Rocky and Bullwinkle? A talking squirrel and moose made for great entertainment. There was always some interesting plot, often involving the Russian spies, Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale. There was always great humor, a few puns, and lots of action.
This young moose found itself as the target of my camera lens several years ago when we were in northern Idaho. We were heading to Yellowstone National Park. This little park, just south of Yellowstone, was great for young children. Nature and young childeren go together well.

I took this photo last summer. I love the textures, depth and color. It is a very simple marigold, captured in a complex photo. A wide open apeerature and a fast lens makes this work. The results, an elegant photo of a simple flower.
