Spring rain ... early

The Great Miami River

The Great Miami River

April showers have come early, and the river is high. This is the Great Miami River, and it’s over its banks this week. The photo below is of the Stillwater river. The rain has stopped for today, but it is still in the forecast.

Sunsets ... never get enough!

FullSizeRender.jpg

Teresa took this photo just north of Troy, Ohio. I can never get enough of a good sunrise or sunset. You see so many different colors. The lighting can change in seconds. Love this photo.

Winter in the woods

FullSizeRender.jpg

This does not just look cold, it feels cold. Pictures like this one always give me a chill. The light fog makes the distant trees look ghostly. Winter does not want to let go.

A bad case of spring fever ...

FullSizeRender.jpg

We are having unusually warm weather in Ohio. Today felt like spring, so Teresa and I took advantage of the warm weather and took at hike at Charleston Falls Preserve. I can’t wait for spring. They call this spring fever.

A wood bridge

IMAGE.JPG

Nothing fancy .. just a cool wood bridge. I love the design. It looks like steel, but this is wood.

By the time we reached the bridge, I was ready for something stable. We had spent most of our time on ice, or sliding in mud. This felt stable, and I was glad to walk above the ice, literally.
