Leaf me alone .. 😳

I had a little fun with this title .. yes, at first I thought this was poison ivy, but I don’t think it is. I can roll around in the stuff without any issues, but not Teresa. If she looks at it, she can get a bad case of it.

We hiked at Taylorsville MetroPark, East today. There are more colors, and there was more bird activity than I expected. Here’s the video .. enjoy:

It was not that long ago ..

Wow, it’s getting cold. I needed to pull up a photo form a few weeks back to help me ‘think warm’. Teresa took this photo during our last butterfly hike. Such a beautiful creature.

The weather is not cooperating with my planning. I’m hoping the rain and weather pattern will pass, but it looks like we will have rain most of the week. Our trip north is uncertain, but we will see.

Flowering fall

I love the beautful flowering plants that hang around for fall. They are just beautiful.

I am hoping that we can take a short trip to northern Michigan for some photography of the foliage. They should be at peak colors this week, or close to it. That may delay the video for a couple days, but I don’t know what is going to happen.

In the robin hood

While hiking on Friday, I saw more American Robins than I have seen at any other time this fall. I could not count them. They were so active. I assume they are finally migrating .. but they were everywhere.

Sunrise pond

I took this photo while I was hiking at Sycamore State Park. The temperature was about 36°F but the water was still warm. The results .. this amazing view. Stay warm!
